Bid Support – MAT
Bid Support
We are experienced and successful at supporting MAT’s to bid for funding through the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) Programme.
We are happy to discuss requirements with individual MAT’s.
We develop bids for submission to the Education Funding Agency (EFA) for condition related items such as:-
- Roofs
- Heating Systems
- Hot & Cold Water Systems
- Electrical Rewires
- Safeguarding
- Asbestos Removal
- Fire Safety Compliance
- Kitchen Refurbishments
We would advise the MAT on the programme priorities in order to ensure any potential bid has the best possible chance of being successful.
Our service includes developing cost estimates, cash flow forecasts, delivery programmes, risk register and associated information requested by the EFA.
We can provide support for bids for expansion projects, but generally this is a much more significant level of work involved in this type of submission and the services of Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and potential external detailed surveys need to be carried out. The cost of making these bids can be costly so we would discuss and advise schools in the first instance as to the likelihood of success prior to commencing any works for these bids. Should a bid appear to meet all bid criteria we would provide a fee proposal for our support on the bid.
Cost / Agreements for Bid Support
Condition Schemes
There would be no charge to support your MAT with a bid but formal appointment of Concept Education Services Ltd to deliver any scheme approved that we have worked on.
This means that individual MAT’s are not spending money as risk and Concept Education Services Ltd have a vested interest in developing a high quality bid on your behalf.
Expansion Schemes
It is impossible to set a cost against this as each individual scheme will require different professional support and differing levels of involvement. A job by job fee proposal will be provided on request.
The same stipulation will still apply however that Concept Education Services Ltd will need to be formally appointed to deliver any scheme approval that we have worked on.
